We sing
with each other.
We sing
for each other.

Choral music has always been driven by a desire for connection—to share and shape sound together, to create community, and to be greater than the sum of our parts.

Our 2026 performances explore life’s big questions. In an increasingly turbulent world, what does it mean to be human? Why do we seek connection, and how do we find it? Where have we come from, and where are we going?

Wildsong

with the Elder Conservatorium Chorale

Saturday 30 May · 7:30 PM

Elder Hall

Conductor Karl Geiger

Wildsong examines humanity’s relationship with nature, through music ranging from playful to profound. From chirping crickets and soaring birds to bustling farmyards and the tranquillity of the rainforest, discover how composers portray fauna both tame and wild, allegorical and literal. This performance is in collaboration with the Elder Conservatorium Chorale.

Tickets will be available in January 2026 via the Adelaide University website.

Belonging

Saturday 12 September · 7:30 PM

Elder Hall

Conductor Karl Geiger

We then reflect on our need for connection in Belonging. Here we sing music that celebrates how we find one another, what we owe each other, and how we shape each others’ lives. Through luminous harmonies, timeless texts, intimate whispers and soaring unity, we explore the bonds that bridge distance and difference.

Origins

with the Big Sing Chorus and the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra
Sunday 8 November · 3:00 PM

Tatachilla Lutheran College

Conductor Nicholas Buc

Our third performance is a powerful shared experience, as we serve as the core choir for Big Sing McLaren Vale. This annual mini-festival partners with the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra this year to present Origins, a major new oratorio by Australian composer and conductor Nicholas BucOrigins traces our story from the Big Bang to the rise of humanity, questioning our relationship with our planet. Anyone can register for the Big Sing Chorus, so join us on stage.
